Shake Your Groove Thing

This past Saturday, a spring like sunny day, we spent the afternoon at the outdoor festival celebrating the grand opening of the Modern Wing of the Art Institute. Mary and Kate, with their friend Evelyn, spent a good part of the day dancing, as only a trio of four year old girls can, to a wonderful jazz band. An African group, full of drums and dancers sent all three of them to the sidelines. Later I asked Mary why they sat out the African music, "I don't know Mom, I just couldn't find my groove".
