Christmas is Coming

Here I am, listening to Christmas music on November 12th. Jack will turn it off the minute he comes home but for a few hours in the afternoon, I sneak it in. Decorations already up at Target? Fine! Windows decorated at Field's (I know, Macy's)? Wonderful! I tried to be one of the cool people, I did, those who were horrified at the early onset of Christmas but it doesn't work for me. I love it, love every bit of it. My children are taking my cue, requesting Frosty the Snowman and Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer at tooth brushing time. They go bonkers at Target, running from one pre season display to the next, having discovered that most of the mass produced commercially licensed products sing or dance or make incessant noise when you squeeze their hands. And as long as we don't have to take home the singing Winnie the Pooh with a drum playing Eeyore, I love it. Wave good-bye to Linus and Lucy belting out Jingle Bells, we'll be back again soon to visit. It's the most wonderful time of the year, soon.

I just laughed out loud at Argo Tea, me with all the uber cool computer people on a Thursday afternoon, and I'm laughing. Thank you!
